As a Business Continuity Lead. within Business Event Management, you are a member of PNC’s Enterprise Event Management & Physical Security team directly assisting the manager as an individual contributor to lead event and incident response efforts in addition to supporting other leadership responsibility. This is a remote position with the flexibility to work in a facility if in proximity to your home location.
The schedule is 12:00 PM ET to 9:00 PM ET Mon - Friday
- Ability to document comprehensive assessment of the situation and any potential or realized impacts allowing you to effectively communicate to stakeholders, technology, or other partners as needed while assisting in response to a disruption.
- Leads the outreach and coordination of Business resources in response to technology incidents or other disruptive events, whether day to day or in a crisis.
- Supports business recovery in partnership with crisis management, emergency management, contingency planning and disaster-preparedness planning.
- Participates with Business Continuity Management in the development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans as needed; participate with testing emergency response, and recovery.
- Identifies and quantifies the potential impact or realized impact of various disruptions and disaster scenarios, whether through exercises, planned or unplanned disruptions.
- Develops reporting and necessary presentation material for the assigned Line of Business stakeholders and partners; maintaining strict compliance with any defined regulations or departmental controls.
- Leads the development and enhancement of information on Business Event Management processes, standards and initiatives. Provides support for the development and delivery of training on Business Event Management.
- Maintains response capability during on-call rotational duties as defined to ensure coverage 24x7.
This is a remote position and can sit anywhere within the PNC footprint, except for Colorado, Hawaii, Alaska. In person activities may occur periodically based on business need.
Leads in the development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans; oversees testing, emergency response, and recovery. Informs in the selection of operating strategies for the continuation of the business within a recovery time objective.
Leads business recovery, crisis management, emergency management, contingency planning and disaster-preparedness planning. Looked to for expertise.
Conducts, communicates, and maintains business continuity lifecycle planning and business impact analysis. Identifies and quantifies the potential impact of various disruptions and disaster scenarios.
Interfaces with LOB committee/executive to report on the compliance of business continuity processes, readiness, events and exercise results. May lead relationships with audit and government regulators on business continuity issues.
Responsible for leading high profile initiatives through the development, enhancement and dissemination of continuity processes and standards. Develops and delivers the training on business continuity.
