• oCloud Network Engineer 
• 50 AWS accounts 
• Lots of networking we need to manage and keep from colliding 
• Need to manage all the infra 
• IoT with devices in the field that talk to our web services and talk to our private networking 
•  Must be able to troubleshoot networking coming into our cloud services 
• Using AWS services and networking 
• Experience with India would be great - IoT team is in India 
• Direct placement, $125K salary target, located in Westminster We are seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic Network Engineer to join the Trimble Cloud Platform Site Reliability Engineering team, which is responsible for provisioning and operating our core services in the public cloud. 
• About Trimble Cloud Platform Our team takes a cloud-first approach to deliver shared web services that are used by Trimble and Trimble partners. Our platform-as-a-service is used by hundreds of application product teams to expedite their time to market. We focus on building services used by developers that are simple, scalable, and secure. 
•  Key Responsibilities Design and implement global interconnected network topologies in the public cloud Provision and configure new subnets and connect to external integrators 
• Troubleshoot common networking failure states
•  Develop automation and monitoring solutions Utilize best practices in cloud networking and designing for least privilege Investigate, evaluate and prototype service offerings from infrastructure providers across the public cloud

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Above-average knowledge of the entire OSI network stack 
• Extensive experience allocating and provisioning networks in the public cloud Ability to troubleshoot network ingress/egress issues using industry-standard packet inspection tools (Wireshark) and analysis of ALB & VPC flow logs 
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (Azure or GCP acceptable)
•  Deep understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems 
•  Desirable Skills and Experience AWS Certification (or equivalent in another public cloud) 
• Experience with networking for IoT devices and messaging Experience with web application development and architecture 
• Above-average skills in Python or another high-level programming language
•  Experience with SaaS monitoring toolsets (Datadog, SumoLogic) 
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases Experience with CI/CD toolsets (Jenkins)
