Manager of Operations Program

The Manager of Operations Program will support the implementation of small to large program innovations using process improvement, project management, and change management methodology. This will require working in a fast paced and highly collaborative environment, with a high level of emotional intelligence.

Program deployments will include:

• Partnering with teams across the organization to deploy new programs, processes, and innovations

• Use of project management tools, organizational/behavioral change management strategies and tactical plans
• Exercising strong program and project management skills to achieve transformational outcomes
• Adhering to and evolving a standard practice for program management and deployment

The Manager will directly lead and/or indirectly influence project teams with process improvement, project management, and organizational development experience, and is expected to effectively manage individual workstreams and communicate recommendations to business unit leaders and senior executives.

Essential Functions:

Program Management: (45%)

  • Monitor program portfolio and incoming requests, prioritizing projects for team based on those that will achieve the greatest impact on program goals

  • Align deployment plan to project objectives and team goals, proactively identifying roadblocks and addressing the scope

  • Leverage necessary teams to execute deliverables on time by building appropriate rapport and partnership

Strategic Project Execution: (25%)

  • Lead initiatives to support ongoing management and development of ESRD SNPs and other shared savings programs; identifies strategic opportunities while mitigating risk

  • Lead special projects and/or owns key workstreams that have been identified to support clinical and strategic objectives; oversee both small and large project teams and drive plans to achieve results

  • Report out to senior leadership on key project success metrics, areas of risk, plans for mitigation/remediation

Building Relationships: (15%)

  • Use a high degree of emotional intelligence to productively navigate relationships and build credibility

  • Gain buy-in from project partners, sponsors, and team, identifying appropriate leaders to build sponsorship for the program

  • Foster an environment of trust and mutual accountability among the project team

Team: (10%)

  • Cultivate a high level of collaboration within the project team and stakeholder group

  • Commit to the development of individuals and work to bring our team “up” with the same intention that you do yourself; proactively identify opportunities for personal and professional growth

  • Hire the appropriate people for the right job and coach for performance

  • Create and fun and productive work environment

  • Understand and evaluate team’s performance

Analytics: (5%)

  • Analyze project success and process metrics to identify and address barriers to success

  • Develop and manage project dashboards

  • QA metrics for accuracy and complete metric report outs to stakeholders and leadership

Education & Experience:

  • Experience: 4 – 6 years

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

Specialized Experience, Education, Training, or Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting large-scale implementation or business transformation teams with tangible impact on operating/financial performance

  • Minimum of 3 years project management and operational experience; healthcare experience preferred

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex issues/ideas clearly and effectively

  • Comfort working in structured and changing environments

  • Prior experience creating content for and presenting to senior leadership preferred

  • Advanced computer proficiency and skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint required, Microsoft Project preferred

Travel Requirements:
- 10 – 25%

Salary/ Wage Range

$68,400.00 to $100,400.00

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
