Consumer and Small Business Banking (CSBB) provides financial services to 21 million retail bank households and three million small business customers through approximately 4,900 retail branches, 17 customer service centers, and approximately 13,000 ATMs in 36 states and the District of Columbia. We serve and help individuals and families in many aspects of their lives, helping them buy homes, open first bank and savings accounts, buy cars to get to and from work or school, and start or grow small businesses. CSBB Chief Marketing Office provides marketing support for the CSBB businesses and the Marketing Centers of Excellence (COE) support for marketing needs across the enterprise. The team has accountability to define the line of business marketing strategy and execute marketing campaigns.

This specific role sits within the Cross Line of Business Experiences Team

The Role:
The Security & Privacy Marketing Options Product Manager will deliver a new marketing opt-in capability across all channels and Lines of Businesses (LOBs).  Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing a road map for an iterative approach
  • Working with technology teams on a scalable / flexible architectural approach
  • Assessing the impact of the new approach across the enterprise identify gaps and opportunities to deliver additional value to customers, LOBs and channels
  • Ensuring appropriate communication and training plans are built and executed
  • The day to day management, measurement, and optimization of the capability including compliance with the annual content review

Location: Preferred work locations indicated in job posting. Open to considering other locations in the Wells Fargo footprint.

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: marketing, digital marketing, digital platforms (i.e mobile or social media) demonstrated through work or military experience

  • Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management
  • Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
  • Knowledge and understanding of product or program management: development of roadmaps, strategies, and management of products ranging from concepts in ideation through to market delivery
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology project management: large scale development projects, including data migrations and third party vendor integrations
  • Ability to evaluate risks and the impact of decisions on an overall organization
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in a geographically dispersed organization
  • Knowledge and understanding of marketing in the financial services industry
  • Experience in a complex, digital marketing operations environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of executing digital marketing and operational compliance
  • Experience leading effective collaboration across a team of project managers focusing on different functional areas for the same project
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives
  • Experience managing projects in a large enterprise environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of audit, regulatory compliance, or risk management

Other Desired Qualifications

  • Strong relationship, communication, and interpersonal communication skills.  Has the ability to present and discuss information in a way that persuades, educates and enhances understanding
  • Agile experience including with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) experience or exposure to any other scaling principles
  • Ability to effectively partner with senior leaders, scrum teams, delivery leaders and other program managers to achieve greater success in a continuous delivery model
  • Experience in providing status updates to executive sponsors
  • Experience working on large scale process and technology implementations
  • Exceptional professionalism with the ability to stay composed in high pressure situations
  • General understanding of Wells Fargo Metadata tools to research data utilized by Marketing programs
  • Ability to create business and technical requirements for recurring and new Marketing initiatives

Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
