RN opportunity with UCHealth. Provides direct patient care, in a medical/physician officesetting in an RN Observer role in supportofvaccine clinics in the Denver Metro area.

Work Schedule: Part-Time, hours vary between 7:00 am and 7:00 pmdaily. This position will serve the needs of the vaccinationclinics; once that work is no longer needed, it could be reassigned to otherUCHealth needs.


Responsibilities:

• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based onpatient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.

• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition asappropriate. Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patientcare, including patient transfer, discharge, referral andspiritual/psychosocial support needs.

• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and providespatient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, andcircumstances.

• Effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel. Mayprecept student nurses and new hires.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered/Professional Nursing programif less than 3 years experience. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.

• Required Licensure/Certification: State licensure as a RegisteredNurse (RN).

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. BLS through theAmerican Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the ProfessionalRescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must begood through sixty days of hire. All life support certificationcards must be issued by either the American Heart Association or the AmericanRed Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer. (American Red Cross for theProfessional Rescuer is only good upon hire and all renewals will need to bethrough an American Heart Association sanctioned course.)

• Minimum Experience: 6 months of nursing experience.

This position's pay range starts at: $30.00/hour.

An annualbonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational andindividual performance.
