Cyber Security Technology (CST) is a globally distributed team responsible for cyber security innovation and architecture, engineering, solutions and capabilities development, cyber resiliency, access management engineering, data strategy, deployment maintenance, technical project management and information technology security control support.

These team members research, design, engineer, implement and support software and hardware information security systems. They utilize in-depth technical knowledge and business requirements to design and implement secure solutions that protect the bank’s assets while meeting client needs. In addition, they are responsible for major engineering milestones including requirements curation, test plan development and execution, implementation planning and the development execution and of capability runbooks. They exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies to select techniques and evaluation criteria to obtain results and may assign work to others and resolve problems. They typically have 5–7 years of information security technology experience. 

Primary Level of Engagement: Works as a senior contributing member of one or multiple initiative(s), under supervision of engineering lead(s).

Key Responsibilities:
•    Lead the identification, definition, and documentation of system security requirements.
•    Drive the development and execution of test plans and produce quantitative results.
•    Design, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and data.
•    Leverage broad knowledge of information security technologies, techniques and processes and prepare to grow that knowledge within one or more security-engineering domains.
•    Drive complex technical information security projects to ensure on-time delivery.
•    Identify and raise risks or potential vulnerabilities at all stages of the security engineering process.
•    Assist team with resolving technical complexities involved in achieving requirements.
•    Apply creative problem solving skills to develop and implement solutions to complex problems.
•    Contribute to existing test suites (integration, regression, and performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause.
•    Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality.
•    Identify gaps in information security standards adherence and work with appropriate partners to develop plans to close gaps. 
•    Mentor and coach junior security engineers in the delivery and release processes.

Required Skills:
•    Deep knowledge and experience in Python scripting for security and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) integration. Broad programming experience with multiple programming and scripting languages.
•    Familiarity Unstructured Data inspection technology
•    Experience and hands on knowledge with Data Loss Prevention security controls
•    Experience Web Proxy controls
•    Experience with Microsoft Office suite including MS Project and Visio
•    Ability to navigate and work effectively across a complex, geographically dispersed organization
•    Exceptional communication and customer relationship skills
•    Ability to build consensus and cooperation as well as to influence, interact and negotiate with senior leadership in the organization
•    Knowledge of change and project management methodologies and principles and the ability to integrate them into project design
•    Broad knowledge of Information Security technologies, techniques, and processes
•    Experience leading complex technical projects, meeting target timelines, facilitating project meetings, authoring project documentation, issue resolution, and project resource identification
•    Demonstrable ability to self-direct project outcomes, with minimal supervision to achieve program goals
•    Excellent process design capability to improve overall efficiency, mitigate resource conflicts, and improve customer/client experience
 

Enterprise Role Overview - Key individual contributor, with accountability for researching, designing, engineering, implementing, and supporting information security & directory technology systems (software & hardware). Utilizes in-depth technical knowledge and business requirements to design & implement secure solutions to meet customer / client needs while protecting the Bank's assets. Develops and implements security standards, procedures, and guidelines for multiple platforms and diverse environment (e.g. client server, distributed, mainframe, etc.). Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. Work leadership may be provided by assigning work and resolving problems. Typically 5-7 years of IT experience.
