A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
As a Senior Accountant, you work directly with our small business clients to support them with their business, finance, and tax needs. In this role, you interact with a wide variety of people as you provide our clients with regular advice and support as well as manage our own production staff. When clients sign up for our services, you onboard them and train them on our software platforms, systems, and procedures. You diligently analyze our clients' financial performances to identify areas for improvement, and you develop strategies to help improve their businesses.
You provide tax planning services throughout the year and during tax season and prepare both business and individual tax returns. You help strengthen our company by training and managing our team of bookkeepers and accountants, reviewing monthly management reports, and conducting regular performance reviews to ensure we produce high-quality work. You take great pride in helping both our clients and our company reach new financial highs!
Qualifications For a Senior Accountant
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance OR 5+ years of experience working with small businesses including entity tax work
- 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- 3+ years of experience working with various small businesses
Enrolled Agent (EA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation would be a bonus. Do you have top-notch communication and interpersonal skills? Are you highly detail-oriented? Can you effectively work both independently and with a team? Are you a fast learner and an efficient problem solver? Can you work with minimal supervision?
