Eaton’s Innovative Switchgear Solutions Business is currently seeking a Senior Materials Planning Analyst to join our team. This position will be based in our Dacono, CO facility.

Position Overview:

This role will be responsible for Materials Planning activities at the Dacono, CO site. The incumbent will work within the Supply Chain function and be involved in all aspects of material planning for the Innovative Switchgear Solutions Business, including: purchasing, scheduling, inventory management, supplier management, and materials planning for production

In this function you will:


  • Purchasing: place purchase orders; review invoices/receipts for discrepancies; and assign all parameters to every part created in SAP

  • Maintain the Master Schedule: Review all current open and future jobs to meet quoted lead times; and organize jobs and distribute the manufacturing schedule to each function in warehouse

  • Review Build of Materials (BOM): check all products and MPI indicators are set to meet demands of sub-contract stock; and troubleshoot Star/EO sub-contract BOM for accuracy

  • Inventory: identify and help with cycle counts and root cause analysis for discrepancies; locate part discrepancies in the warehouse; and forecast in order to set reorder points in SAP and for Finance

  • Review invoices/receipts for discrepancies

  • Production: assist with Manufacture Order confirmations; review upcoming jobs for material availability; and issue routings to all new designs, along with review previous routing for Production Order variances.

  • Reports: run and review all reports for accuracy for each new design before they can be costed and approved for manufacturing

  • Suppliers: work closely with Finance to unblock PO/Invoices that are holding up our vendors form getting paid; run all reports as needed for site supplier support

  • COGI: assist in clearing COGI errors per finance that are caused by backflushing without sufficient inventory


Required (Basic) Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Materials Planning or Supply Chain

  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within 50 miles of Dacono, CO will be considered for this position.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Business from an accredited institution

  • Five or more years of experience in Materials Planning or Supply Chain
