Description:

The Systems Engineer Technology Insertion Lead is a key role on the Weapon System Technology Insertion team. In this role you will: Work in partnership with the Weapon System Technical Insertion lead, chief scientist, chief engineers, customers, and partners to ideate, plan, execute, flight test, and implement improved weapon system architectures for the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) hypersonic weapon system Coordinate trade space development and trade study execution aimed to implement leading-edge technologies, increasing weapon system performance and capability Coordinate system architecture, CONOPs, requirements, interfaces, and verification/validation development efforts for one of several weapon system configurations Provide technical oversight and integration during the design phase Support planning efforts and handoffs to the integration and test team in advance of ground tests, flight tests, and system deployment Typically candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree and 14+ years of experience CODE-COMAR22 Basic Qualifications: Systems Engineering process knowledge or experience and complete lifecycle experience with engineering processes and reviews CONOPs, Architecture, Requirement development experience Model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and/or MBSE tools experience Experience executing Trade studies Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with strong presentation skills and capable of briefing audiences large or small of varying technical knowledge Ability to obtain DoD Top Secret Clearance Desired Skills: Experience with a weapon systems or missile development program Experience with flight system electronics / avionics development and integration Demonstrated ability to drive closure and resolve complex and technical issues/challenges Experience with systems thinking techniques with the demonstrated ability to apply them to a wide range of complex problems and train others in their application Requirement verification and validation experience Customer interaction and familiarity with the DoD Labs/Facilities Integration and test experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members, leadership, and customers Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance Clearance Level: None

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Craig Technologies facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Craig Technologies supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
