GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
u2022 Responsible for the system (not content of company material, utilizing experience with a variety of network technologies to lead internal and external clients with internet, intranet, or extranet-based applications including C++, Java, XML, HTML, CGI, ASP, multimedia applications, database interactions, and data modeling tools.
u2022 Builds applications using internet and windows development tools.
u2022 Provides written design documents, test plans and test results.
u2022 Manages, develops, integrates, and implements related applications components including front-end development, server-side development, and database integration.
u2022 Plays a direct role in programming, maintenance, technical support, documentation, and administration of the applications.
u2022 Establishes and communicates standards to manage cost and ensure continuity of applications.
u2022 May work with outside vendors in developing tests to ensure feature functionality.
u2022 Suggests technical alternatives and improves and streamlines processes and systems.
u2022 Completes project assignments and special projects commensurate with job expectations.
u2022 Conducts planning, analysis, and forecasting activities to plan projects and tasks.
u2022 May provide leadership and/or guidance to other technical professionals.
u2022 Other related duties assigned as needed.
A Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

FIS JOB LEVEL DESCRIPTION
Advanced professional role. Highly-skilled with extensive proficiency. Works to plan, develop, and deploy E-commerce websites including designing web architecture, code writing, and ensuring site functionality in a twenty-four hour, seven days a week environment. May lead large development projects requiring in-depth knowledge of complex web-based programming languages. Responsible for maintaining technical documentation necessary to deliver E-commerce purchasing options to customers. Coaches and mentors junior technical staff. Works under minimal supervision on complex projects. Wide latitude for independent judgment. Typically requires six or more years demonstrated web development experience.
