The Animator/ Motion Graphics Artist will report to and work closely with the Associate Creative Director and Motion Graphics Art Director to produce engaging creative products for internal and external clients. This position will create professional quality 2D motion graphics with the ability to multitask and adapt for tight deadlines. This position demonstrates proficiency in several areas of the professional function and effectively resolves problems and roadblocks as they occur. Accountable for meeting productivity and quota targets as well as develops solutions and techniques that meet art direction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Professionally design and animate primarily local/regional advertising spots, with a focus on 2D animation.
* Explorations into software and plug-ins to further the department's capabilities.
* Animate marketing presentations, circuit institutional ads and company sales materials.
* Work collaboratively within a team environment.



* Minimum of 2-5 years of professional motion graphic design experience.
* Must be proficient using Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
* Working knowledge of Autodesk 3DS MAX a plus.
* Must work effectively with others in a deadline driven environment.
* Must be detail oriented.
* A strong knowledge of typography, composition and movement.
* Provide either online motion graphics portfolio link OR motion graphics portfolio on DVD for review.

Experience and Training:

Any combination of the following experience and training (designated as required and/or preferred) that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.

Experience: 2-5 years of professional motion graphic design experience.

Education: College degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.

This hybrid job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

Salary Range: Base Salary of approximately $62,000-$65,000 annually plus bonus - compensation is commensurate with skills & experience.
