RESPONSIBILITIES A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Cloud Platform Manager in Englewood, Colorado (CO). Responsibilities include A Cloud Platform Manager will insist on seeing the impact of your work every single day, across your team, your organization, and your customers Responsible for the overall strategy, planning, delivery, and support of a complex service or group of smaller services, ensuring services are delivering value to the customer and performant for the customer The Cloud Platform Manager will want to be an integral part of an organization that values innovation, diversity and impact (we also know how to have a good time too) Provide strong technical expertise in platform architecture, with a strong vision to platform thinking throughout client A Cloud Platform Manager will oversee the quality of the code and products throughout the entire development lifecycle (DevOps) Drive for continuous improvement in performance, scalability, extensibility, reliability, usability, and availability of the platform The Cloud Platform Manager will leverage agile methodology concepts for quality, delivery, and continuous improvement Partner with business stakeholders, product managers, other engineering directors to create and maintain a digital roadmap Coaching and career development for engineering managers and staff REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Management, Computer Engineering or related field Master's degree preferred 8+ years of experience in software engineering 4+ years of experience leading one or more platform, cloud, or DevOps teams Experience managing high-perform engineering teams Experience with service-oriented architectures, APIs, and AB testing Experience operationally maintaining a customer facing web application An agile mindset (i.e., ship early, ship often, and iterate) History of designing, implementing, and operating large-scale systems to resolve complex business requirements Experience managing all aspects of 3rd party business relationships Lead initiatives, patchingupgrade schedules, and support help channels tracking Excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical team members Mentoring and coaching other technical team members to assess needs, aid, and resolve technical problems Comfortable working with an Agile approach Experience managing 24x7 mission critical organizations History of managing employees across multiple locations Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees Excellent communications skills Kforce is an Equal OpportunityAffirmative Action Employer.
