Kitchen Director/Back of House Manager (Culinary Leader)

One-on-one coaching with the business owner, real responsibility in leading a multi-million dollar business, and a track record of business leadership results will set you on a new career trajectory.   At Chick-fil-A Littleton, we know that our kitchen is the heart of our restaurant.  We are looking for an industry professional to lead our kitchen team.  As our Culinary Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring quick and accurate delivery of the craveable food that Chick-fil-A is known for in the quick service industry. 

Role:

You will lead our kitchen team in holding the highest food safety standards.  As the Kitchen Director, you will also have the opportunity to lead a growing business through new innovations and operational excellence. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 30+

  • Serve and lead in restaurant operations 35-40 hours/week

  • Work out of operation in your department 5-10 hours/week

  • Learn and apply business strategies to improve organizational performance

  • Lead systems and processes that ensure consistent execution of food safety, food quality, and customer service

  • Partner with other leaders to create goals and inspire progress

  • Oversee business expenses and maximize profits

  • Develop future leaders

Qualifications:

  • Experience in team leadership and in kitchen restaurant operations

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Available to work a variety of shifts depending on the needs of the restaurant

  • Able to effectively coach and give direction to team members

  • Able to engage in immediate problem resolution and creates plans to correct critical issues in the back of house operations

  • Good multi-tasking abilities and communication skills

  • Enthusiastic and passionately present with the restaurant team

  • Sets a good example for the team, is professional and mature

  • Displays confident humility and growth mindset

  • Drives continuous improvement for the back of house operations

  • Actively participates in weekly leadership team meetings

  • English/Spanish bilingual strongly preferred

  • Strong project/time management skills

  • Eagerness to continually learn and adapt to change

Compensation: Total compensation/benefits estimated at: $60,000+

  • Wage: $20-23 at 45 hrs/wk
