OfficeTeam is looking for a contract-to-hire, full time Community Development Logistics Senior Coordinator! This job is a challenging, full-time position that is matrixed into the Senior Director, Community Development & Government Affairs for specific work related to fundraising events and conferences. The primary responsibility of this position is to deliver on the logistical, budgetary, participant satisfaction, and in-kind donation goals associated with award-winning programs, events and conferences, and to maintain data and reports that allow such goals to be tracked and measured. This position will manage an assigned portfolio of participants, partners, vendors, and develop new constituents independently over time. The Community Development Logistics Senior Coordinator position works collaboratively with other departments and team members, resulting in measurable fundraising, press, and participant and partnership satisfaction. The key areas of work are: (1) Colorado Programs & Events (2) National Fundraising Events, (3) Conferences & Conference Collaborations, and (4) Financial & Data Responsibilities. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
o Ensure a safe, enjoyable environment with punctual start times, smooth registration, correct size uniforms and outfits, completed waivers and releases and insurance policies.
o Ensure that there are ample Global-trained volunteers, PALs, coaches and/or teachers as appropriate.
o Ensure that Program “game days” and “half time performances” are highly organized for families and participants, and that vendors and entertainment are booked ahead of time with details regarding timing and expectations delivered well in advance.
• Organize Program facilities including venue booking, audio visual, decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, speakers, equipment, promotional material, registration, buffet or other food areas, flower arrangements, event set up and break down as appropriate and that all agreements are executed and saved.
• Organize the annual calendar and oversee photos and verbiage for e-mail blasts, e-newsletter blurbs, blogs, marketing materials, and website registrations and updates in a timely way with successful outcomes; ensure high quality photography and videography as appropriate; work to ensure that broad-based community partners such as the Denver Broncos, Colorado Rapids, University of Denver, University of Colorado Boulder, have materials and co-promote Global’s Colorado Programs and Events.
• Manage attendance & survey results to meet budgeted expectations of participant growth and key measurable results.
• Assist to transition work to new hires, partners & vendors associated with the Community Development Department.
