POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Manager of Digital Marketing & Web Services, the Marketing Operations Specialist is part of the larger Marketing and Communications group. He/she will be responsible for the end-to-end management of cross-functional projects as well as the strategy, design, and execution of marketing operations management processes and automation solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Apply technical knowledge and tools to help develop and optimize Marketing, Communications and Sales (MCS) processes and workflows.
  • Manage the execution of MCS technology projects and software integrations.
  • Develop scope and define backlog items that guide development teams.
  • Provide end-user training and technical support for marketing and sales technology platforms.
  • Accomplish goals by communicating objectives; planning, monitoring, and evaluating results; coaching, counseling, and directing team members.
  • Drive and require the creation and/or updating of marketing project, process and policy documentation.
  • Coordinate resources and timelines with internal/external project teams.
  • Recommend strategies, policies and procedures by evaluating marketing department outputs, identifying inefficiencies, evaluating trends and understanding business requirements.
  • Maintain quality by establishing and enforcing organization and department standards.
  • Create and maintain performance reports on activities, effectiveness and business impact.
  • Ensure that key decisions are addressed, delivered and documented during project meetings.

  • Quality Assurance: Demonstrated understanding and implementation of quality assurance regulations, standards and guidelines of 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.

MINIMUM SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or other related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of full-time, relevant working experience required. Must have experience implementing and managing marketing and sales technology platforms: customer relationship management systems (Salesforce), enterprise website content management systems (Sitecore, Adobe), social media management systems (Hootsuite).  Additional required experience includes:
    • Experience with team collaboration software (SharePoint, Mattermost), process/project management and workflow automation tools (Wrike, Automate, Nintex)
    • Project management experience, including managing the work of outside consultants.
    • An eye for detail and a high bar for product and process quality and user experience.
    • A passion for optimizing productivity and effectiveness.
    • A quick learner who can understand complex requirements and assess dependencies.
    • Ability to work independently, be self-driven and maintain communications with NuScale Power’s management and staff while working from various locations.
    • Should have experience working within a matrix organization with high-performing teams in multiple locations.
  • Preferred experience includes:
    • Experience with email marketing and privacy regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM), and website accessibility guidelines (WCAG).
    • Preference will be given to candidates with experience and knowledge of nuclear or energy policy/regulations.
  • Industry Requirements: Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.
