We are seeking multiple highly motivated Strategy & Design Consultants to join our Enterprise Performance Management Center of Excellence team to help build and sustain an integrated performance management function at Wells Fargo. This team will be charged with designing and delivering a cohesive, end-to-end performance management program – focused on mitigating bias and risk while empowering employees to deliver their best work now and in the future.
This role offers an experienced human resources or leadership and development professional the opportunity to work in a fast paced, collaborative team, committed to delivering first-class HR solutions for the enterprise.

Candidates should be influential and results-oriented individuals who can develop and manage relationships within and outside of HR, perform research and benchmarking on cross-industry trends, analyze success metrics, and develop broad-based enterprise-level process design – including how best to deliver an integrated performance, career + development framework in partnership with the Talent Design Center of Excellence (COE). The ideal Strategy & Design Consultant has experience working in large, complex, global organizations, preferably in a regulated industry. 

Key responsibilities:
•    Partner closely with the Performance Management and Talent Center of Excellence teams to develop and drive immediate and long-term enterprise performance management strategy + success measures 
•    Define and manage end-to-end process design, timeline, cycle requirements + enhancements
•    Build cross-functional relationships with key HR leaders across Talent, Learning, Employee Relations, Culture, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion to drive integrated employee / manager experience and end-to-end strategy integration 
•    Identify continuous improvement opportunities via industry best practices, market insights, and internal feedback 
•    Partner across governance, operations + engagement teams to develop and simplify enterprise performance management framework, existing processes, and deliverables  
•    Define strategic reporting needs and dashboard insights 
•    Manage and prioritize key initiatives and roadmap deliverables
Position is equivalent to an internal Wells Fargo Job Code of Business Initiatives Consultant 3.

Salary range is determined by the location of the job.
The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule:

 NC-Charlotte: Min: $94,500 Mid: $135,000 Max: $175,500
MN-Minneapolis: Min: $94,500 Mid: $135,000 Max: $175,500
IA-West Des Moines: Min: $94,500 Mid: $135,000 Max: $175,500
AZ-PHX-Northwest Phoenix: Min: $94,500 Mid: $135,000 Max: $175,500
TX-San Antonio: Min: $94,500 Mid: $135,000 Max: $175,500
GA-Atlanta: Min: $94,500 Mid: $135,000 Max: $175,500
CO-Englewood: Min: $94,500 Mid: $135,000 Max: $175,500
TX-DAL-Oakcliff: Min: $94,500 Mid: $135,000 Max: $175,500
May be considered for a discretionary bonus.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning

Other Desired Qualifications

  • BS / BA degree 
  • 5+ years of previous experience in human resources, talent + performance management, leadership development, corporate strategy, organizational effectiveness, coaching or career planning 
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills 
  • Exceptional ability to influence senior executive stakeholders, flexing style and approach as required in a range of complex situations with diverse audiences
  • Significant experience designing, implementing, and managing large-scale change programs (culture, people, processes, systems-related), leadership development, employee engagement, career management, and / or performance management programs
  • Previous Workday experience – specifically within the broader talent portfolio
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, and Project) skills
  • Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback / direction, and manage and build relationships in a geographically dispersed environment
  • Ability to manage complex projects in a large enterprise environment
  • Outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong change management skills, technology proficiency, systems thinking and quality orientation
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills – with background in leveraging data to tell the right story 
  • Strategic perspective and thought leadership in a broad range of talent + performance management and / or leadership development areas
  • Relationship management skills with the ability to influence and coach at executive levels
  • Highly motivated self-starter with excellent analytical skills and a results-oriented mindset. Happy to perform a high-level of operational work, mixed with senior strategic work, in close partnership with cross-functional peers
  • Prior knowledge of enterprise-driven performance and talent management processes 
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities at once with multiple senior stakeholders across lines of business and HR
  • Knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance requirements for financial services organizations – particularly as it relates to the design and delivery or enterprise performance management programs
