Job Summary

This position is responsible for managing sales activities within a designated region. The PubSec Sales Director - Healthcare will need to have a track record in managing a large geography, attaining aggressive sales goals and the development of senior level sales talent within the Healthcare industry. The position is a challenging and dynamic opportunity for the right individual that requires the ability to lead by example, mentor in a senior capacity and recruit top-level talent.

The PubSec Sales Director - Healthcare will report to the Public Sector Sales Vice President-Healthcare.  This position is a remote position however may be required to report to SHI Headquarters as required for business needs as determined by management.

Responsibilities

Include, but not limited to:

  • Manage a professional sales team in a designated territory
  • Collaborate with VP to develop sales strategy, business plan aligned with field teams and business unit
  • Drive new client acquisition, growth of accounts and proper mentorship of Account Executives and Field Inside Sales Execs to exceed goals
  • Develop and deliver effective sales presentations to senior leadership in client accounts
  • Motivate, coach, and manage the sales team
  • Build a sales team by recruiting, hiring, and training new employees
  • Oversee the interviewing of a hiring team encouraging the diversity of background and experience
  • Oversee pipeline management
  • Drive the team to create exponential territory growth
  • Partner and collaborate with internal technical support teams leadership
  • Promote and cultivate a culture of high performance and teamwork
  • Establish and develop strong Partner relationships
  • Work with Marketing to effectively create brand awareness
  • Establish and develop strong Partner relationships

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 10 years of successful sales experience in the technology field
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare ecosystem
  • Experience working with C-Level executives
  • Must have experience presenting to large groups
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Work, Excel & PowerPoint

Unique Requirements

  • Position requires 25% travel

Additional Information

  • FLSA: Exempt
  • The estimated annual pay range for this position is $300,000 - $350,000 which includes a base salary and commission bonuses. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
