Responsibilities

  • Define, build, and run Zayo's awareness and demand generation strategies for mid-market accounts
  • Build and execute multi-touch, offline and digital marketing programs including both inbound and outbound tactics as well as managing 3rd party vendors to achieve pipeline and revenue targets
  • Partner with sales market leads to align and execute all go-to-market activities in local geographies
  • Lead a cross functional marketing team to drive maximum efficiency in our sales and marketing processes and programs
  • Partner with digital marketing, product marketing, and content marketing to develop the most relevant and impactful content supported by SEO/SEM optimization and strategies
  • Responsible for opportunity creation from Leads to Opportunities to Closed/Won, hitting annual and quarterly pipeline and revenue goals
  • Deliver operational excellence around planning and reporting
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness through better audience segmentation, marketing techniques, and processes
  • Develop processes for tracking and analyzing program performance, in partnership with Marketing Operations

Qualifications

  • 8+ years experience in a high-tech B2B marketing, demand generation, field marketing, and/or events
  • Revenue-centric marketer with seasoned skills in inbound and outbound marketing
  • Experience creating and running campaigns and programs that directly contributed to pipeline and revenue growth
  • Hands-on experience with Marketing Automation tools like Pardot/Marketo and Salesforce (CRM) to streamline, automate and measure all marketing tasks and workflows
  • Exceptional quantitative and problem solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions
  • "Test and learn" mindset - comfortable taking calculated risks
  • Detail oriented and strong cross-functional program management skills
  • Thorough understanding of marketing buyer journeys
