Are you a results-driven, team-oriented IT leader? This is the opportunity for you! As a Senior Manager, Business Systems you will be an integral team member of the enterprise IT Leadership team and have the responsibility to support and upgrade IT applications across the enterprise. In this role you'll drive the execution and delivery of the team's VGOS (Vision, Strategy, Objectives and Goals), as well as defines and provide metric and KPI based reporting to ensure activities maintain visibility and adhere to goals defined in the IT Annual Plan. In this role, you'll execute talent strategy to maintain a well-trained, high performing, and motivated team, build and maintain business and cross functional relationships to proactively meet customer needs / address issues, as well as create, maintain and improve own processes and ensure alignment to other connected processes. You'll define project scopes and objectives, involving relevant IT stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility, provide resource estimates for the project pipeline and visibility to team resource availability, coordinate between IT functional areas, customers and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of deliverables and risks.
Additionally, you'll maintain deliverables within defined variances for cost, schedule, and quality, as well as remain aware of and proactive to industry trends relating to area of responsibility. As a people leader, you'll manage reporting staff in day-to-day performance and job responsibilities, and ensure standards for templates and related project artifacts are defined and consistently executed, as well as manage the team’s budget for resources and infrastructure to ensure operating within organizational parameters and directives.

As a Senior Manager, Business Systems, you will oversee implementation, support, maintenance, administration, and ongoing enhancements for our enterprise business systems. You'll support Service Oriented Architecture and other integration technologies, web technologies, mobile applications, databases and cloud-based web applications (e.g. Azure, AWS, C#, Node, etc), and utilize software development and configuration management tools to deliver high quality software and integrations, as well as implement and advance automated software build and test environments to reduce iteration delivery cycle times. You'll be responsible for thoughtful adherence to all SNC Policies, Procedures, and Compliance regulations (internal and external), and for timely execution of all personnel-related activities such as Time Sheet completion, Performance Evaluations, Salary Reviews, Succession Planning, etc, as well as for leadership oversight and for ensuring Department/Team training.

You'll engage with the development of project scope to define application sustainment needs and use agile techniques to transform business requirements into features and functions. Your team will also be involved in maintain our systems with appropriate patch levels and upgrades. Working directly with customers this position's organization will provide level 2 and level 3 customer support in ensuring maximum availability, response and resolution.

Must-haves:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field   

    • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education

  • Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous deployment processes

  • Experience with Cloud CI/CD approaches using Azure Devops or GitHub

  • Scripting – One of: bash, PowerShell, Python, aws cli, azure cli

  • C#

  • SQL 2016+

  • Leader of IT Service Management best practices such as ITIL

  • Design and enforce SDLC standards

  • Project management experience

  • Requirements management, analysis and documentation experience

  • Resource management capability and understanding of supply vs demand models for staffing

Preferred:

  • Typically 6-8 years of relevant experience   

  • Higher education may substitute for relevant experience

  • Experience with Cloud CI/CD environments

  • Experience with Automated Test Software and its integration with Cloud CI/CD environments

  • Experience with Quality oriented Compliance organizations (ISO, DCMA, etc)

  • Experience in testing enterprise level applications (such as PLM, ERP, CRM, etc)

  • Scrum Master Certification with working knowledge of Agile development methodology and Scrum

  • Proven leadership skills with exceptional analytical and problem-solving experience

  • Experience in working with regulatory agencies such as DCMA, DCAA or 3rd party test auditors •M365/O365 experience and Identity Architecture (SAML, OAuth, AzureAD, Okta, etc….)

  • Visio and diagramming skills/experience

  • Azure Government

  • AWS Government

  • Checkmarx, Fortify, SonarQube, Aqua, Twistlock

  • NodeJS / Javascript

  • Ability to deal with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Experience with multiple development solutions and service models preferred

  • Critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills

  • Knowledge of IT Service Management best practices such as ITIL

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $134,597.00 - $185,070.89

Sierra Space offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
