As a Sr. Security Manager, you will develop and administer local security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. You will ensure local procedures align with corporate security policies and applicable government regulations. You will work closely with programmatic personnel assigned to the local facility to ensure appropriate local program support. And you will coordinate with other local directorates and business area leadership to identify and support business needs.
Sierra Space, based in Louisville, Colorado with operations in Madison, Wisconsin and Durham, North Carolina, designs and manufactures advanced spacecraft, satellites, propulsion and environmental systems, spacecraft subsystems and components for the U.S. government (including NASA), commercial customers and international organizations.
Bachelor's degree in security management, systems security, cybersecurity, or related discipline
Minimum of 1-year experience in managing Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and/or Special Access Programs (SAP) desired
Extensive knowledge of both government and industrial security to analyze evaluate and interpret current security requirements
The ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required.
Typically, 6 - 8 years of relevant management experience
D.O.D/NSS program security experience
Familiarity with NES standards (800-171, 800-53)
Familiarity working with local/national law enforcement agencies
Ability to balance security requirements with Sierra Spaces mission, goals, and culture
Strong communication skills, strong critical thinking, and problem-solving skills; self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects; ability to work with people in a team environment and deal effectively with changing project priorities
Ability to manage time, make sound decisions, take independent action, analyze problems and provide focused solutions
High degree of attention to detail

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $134,597.00 - $185,070.89
Sierra Space offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
