Commercial Banking provides financial solutions to businesses with annual sales generally in excess of $5 million. Our business lines are Wells Fargo Commercial Capital, Middle Market Banking, and Treasury Management & Payment Solutions.

Wells Fargo Commercial Capital

  • A market-leading provider of working capital, investment capital, trust services, and sales financing solutions that help customers optimize liquidity and grow their business through their lifecycle

Treasury Management & Payment Solutions

  • Provides cash management services and digital channel capabilities for customers of Commercial Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking 
  • Also serves some Consumer and Small Business Banking and Wealth and Investment Management customers, and Auto Dealer Finance partner relationships in Consumer Lending

In this role you will work closely with Relationship Managers and Treasury Management Sales Consultants across various business segments in a consultative selling role that contributes to Treasury Management and LOB initiatives. Responsible for meeting annual sales goals and sales activity targets by developing and executing sales strategies and calling plans that require extensive prospecting, profiling, pipeline management, and deal management creativity to deliver viable business process solutions. The Sales Consultant advocates for the sale of Commercial Card, invoice automation and payment automation solutions within the Treasury Management Division. This role is primarily a travel related sales position with some phone/web sales. Works under the direction of a Regional Sales Manager although role seeks a team member that requires minimal direction and assistance from management.

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements. 

May be considered for a discretionary bonus

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: sales, business development, or treasury management

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience meeting customer satisfaction goals
  • Experience meeting or exceeding sales goals with respect to products and/or services
  • Ability to make effective sales presentations that win client's business, based on your recommendations
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
  • Knowledge and understanding of treasury management industry, products and services
  • Professional presentation skills
  • Experience exceeding established sales and customer satisfaction goals

Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

CO-Denver: Min: $115,500 Mid: $165,000
AZ-Chandler: Min: $115,500 Mid: $165,000
WA-Seattle: Min: $138,600 Mid: $198,000
CA-SF-Financial District: Min: $138,600 Mid: $198,000
UT-Salt Lake City: Min: $115,500 Mid: $165,000
