Responsibilities

- Manage the preparation of all financial reports

- Maintains and reviews budgeting and forecasting models

- permanent and train employees, especially finance staff, and manage retention

- Compare monthly operating results against budget

- Aid in developing department goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures- Decide on benchmarks for comparing the operating and financial performance

- Oversee daily operations of the finance and accounting department

- Prepare financial outlooks and forecasts

- Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure to effectively accomplish the departments goals and objectives

- Comply with all budgetary reporting requirements, including local, state, and federal

- Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions

- Oversee insurance and risk management

- Work with department managers to develop five-year business plans

- Supervise financial planning and budget management functions
